The recently held fundraiser for the class trip to Washington, D.C. was a huge success.
The students worked diligently on Friday to inventory, sort, fill and distribute the candle orders. I am so proud of the spirit of teamwork and cooperation that prevailed in our classroom.
The students would like to thank each of you who purchased a pie candle. Your purchase brought them closer to their goal of raising funds for the special trip to our nation's capital in the spring. Once again, many, many thanks!

If you have an interest in selling candles for a fundraiser there is a website called Easy Fundraising Ideas that has some great Candle Fundraising programs and they don't cost anything to start.
